Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds on tour packages booked through defrale.com, operated by DEFRALE TRAVEL PRIVATE LIMITED.

1. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are applicable in the following scenarios:

  • Cancellation of a confirmed booking as per the cancellation timelines below
  • Non-delivery of services by Defrale Travels that were explicitly included in the package
  • Tour cancellation by Defrale Travels due to unforeseen circumstances

2. Refund Timelines Based on Cancellation

The refund amount depends on when the cancellation request is received relative to the travel date:

  • More than 30 days before travel date: Full refund minus a processing fee of Rs. 500 per person
  • 15 to 30 days before travel date: 50% of the total booking amount
  • 7 to 14 days before travel date: 25% of the total booking amount
  • Less than 7 days before travel date: No refund
  • No-show (failure to arrive): No refund

3. Cancellation by Defrale Travels

If Defrale Travels cancels a tour due to insufficient bookings, natural disasters, government advisories, or other circumstances beyond our control, travelers will receive a full refund of the amount paid, or the option to reschedule to a different date at no additional cost.

4. Refund Processing

Once a refund is approved, the amount will be processed within 7-14 business days. Refunds are credited back to the original payment method (UPI account) used during booking.

Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. If you do not receive the refund within the specified timeframe, please contact us.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a cancellation and refund, please send an email to contact@defrale.com with the following details:

  • Booking ID
  • Name of the person who made the booking
  • Reason for cancellation
  • Preferred mode of refund

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable:

  • Payment gateway processing fees
  • Services already rendered or consumed
  • Any third-party charges that have already been paid on your behalf (non-refundable hotel bookings, permits, etc.)

7. Partial Service Usage

If a traveler leaves the tour midway or chooses to skip certain activities or services included in the package, no refund will be provided for the unused portion of the tour.
